Community Events

The following is a non-exclusive list of activities offered:

  • Exercise classes offered twice a week
  • Manicures and Hand massages once a week
  • Bingo several times a week
  • Happy Hour every Friday afternoon with snacks and beverages
  • Community wide Bingo/Happy Hour in one of the homes on a rotating basis for those who like to get out and mingle
  • Local 4th and 5th graders come in the Spring to assist residents with the planting of the raised vegetable/flower beds
  • Music entertainers four times a month
  • Chair yoga offered once a week
  • Music therapy twice a month
  • Wonderful volunteers come twice a month offering inspiration and spiritual guidance
  • High school volunteers come in for one-on-one assistance throughout the homes
  • Bible Study offered on Sunday mornings
  • Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, & May Day Parties
  • Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter Dinners with family & friends
  • Community concerts and cookouts in the Summer
  • Activity/housekeeping staff have continuous activities planned on a daily basis both morning and afternoon
  • Independent activities are also encouraged in each home
